Happy Christmas and A Prosperous New Year!

As a design studio we feel that our Christmas message should be an exemplar. We should give it some proper thought and create something both clever and beautiful. However. After visiting the local barbers for a beard trim, Scott came across the best client to customer Christmas message probably ever created. Succinct and very ‘Christmassy’. So we thought we would simply reproduce it for you here, in our annual Happy Christmas email, as our thank you to you – for being a valued friend of Special Design Studio. PRESENTACIÓN "EVOCACIÓN"/ PRESENTATION "EVOCATION"

Presentación de la obra "Evocación", de Julio Robles

EVOCACIÓN, publicada recientemente en "Letras de Autor", es la última composición del Julio Robles. Perteneciente a la etapa iniciada en 1993, "Evocación" nos traslada al estilo compositivo de finales del siglo XIX. Estructurada en un tema A, en modo menor, seguido de un pequeño desarrollo, con un segundo tema, B, y otro pequeño desarrollo, para finalizar con el tema A en modo mayor y una coda. Esta partitura está dedicada a su sobrino, David, estudiante de violín, que le animó a componer para él esta obra de complejidad media y mucha pasión. Supuso un reto crear para él ésta pieza para violín y piano, en tan solo un mes. Además de la presentación e interpretación de la obra “Evocación”, Julio Robles(Piano) y Mª Dolores Castellón (Soprano) interpretarán  , Carmen. Georges Bizet, Seguidillas, Carmen. Georges Bizet Romanza de Pilar, Gigantes y Cabezudos. Manuel Fernández Caballero.   El acto finalizará con la firma de partituras por el autor, y entrega de un obsequio de repostería, gentileza de Brunilda Cakes, a todos los asistentes.
